I use this song before engaging in an activity that requires delicacy. For example, before handling delicate objects, before petting an animal, when a child is about to touch or hold a child littler than them. I use the sign for gentle, using the four fingers of one hand to draw a circle on the back of the other hand. It's surprising how effective this song is!
Pair with One Finger Gentle Touch song, which goes a little further by giving a limitation of fingers and telling how to touch something. It's always easer to show how to do something than it is to show how to not do something.
